Jacob Flores Carrillo

Jacob Flores Carrillo creates paintings that oscillate between solitude and chaos, history and the present, stillness and transformation. His work is an exploration of human experience—both its struggles and its potential for reconstruction. Blending surrealist, impressionist, and expressionist elements, his compositions depict objects imbued with life, framed within landscapes that feel both intimate and universal.

Trained at the Cabañas Cultural Institute, Flores Carrillo has received numerous accolades, including honors at the October Salon and the Jorge Martínez National Painting Award. His work has been exhibited in prestigious venues across Mexico and internationally, including Paris.
